Hey! I’m Katya, a wine lover turned wine educator. Born in Belarus, I moved to London in 2006 and have lived here since (apart from my two year long Italian adventure). I speak fluent English and Russian.
My affair with wine started in 2014 when I was working in the arts. As much as I enjoyed it, I felt my true passion lies elsewhere. It turned out to be wine, and in particular wine education. My childhood dream to be a teacher came true, although I had no idea I would fulfil it by teaching wine!
Several years, numerous wine tastings, WSET Diploma and Educator’s course, Italian Wine Scholar certificate, hundreds of happy students and clients later my love for wine is as strong as ever.
I know all too well how confusing and overwhelming the wine world can be for an unprepared wine lover. My goal is to help you learn more about this exciting drink, gain confidence navigating wine selections, choose what you like as well as connect with fellow wine lovers.
